Project Overview
Lid Land is the first piece in an ongoing digital art collection titled MicroCosmos – a personal exploration of nature’s patterns, randomness, and reinterpretation through digital processes.
This work began with an ordinary observation: steam bubbles forming on a lunch container lid. From that fleeting moment, a concept was born – using everyday natural phenomena as input for constructing fictional, explorable landscapes.
The piece unfolds as an experiment in translating organic textures and forms into unique, digital environments. Each step in the transformation process plays with abstraction, simulation, and imagination – turning physical randomness into visual coherence.
Concept & Structure
Lid Land reflects how subtle, overlooked moments in the physical world can inspire complex, immersive visuals in the digital realm. Through layering and evolution, it becomes a standalone micro-universe, an artefact born from chance and shaped by design.
Turning the arbitrariness of nature into an exploratory tool is the essence of every piece in this series.
